How should I increase my calories?
I still want to lose weight but I know since I'm going to really start training I need to eat more.
If I'm increasing my running mileage by about 1-2 miles a week, how many extra calories should I be adding on?
I've been running about 12miles a week (well, excluding the holidays) and have been eating 1200 on days I don't run and 1500 on days I do. Should I increase this even more? (I'm 5'4" if that makes any difference.)
Hellllpppppp!!!!

Re: How should I increase my calories?
I agree with pp.
I run about 35-40 mpw, and I don't eat much more than 1500-1700 calories on days I run.
(I do eat more days when I run long, but nothing insane)

Re: How should I increase my calories?
I agree with Colleen. I would add a snack if you are feeling hungry.
