How the heck do I get her to stay happy in the stoller? (long)
DD is 9.5 months. Since she's started crawling & pulling up, she screams 5 minutes after she's in the stroller, even if we're somewhere where there's lots to look at since she's really nosy. Doesn't matter if we're in the mall, at the park, etc. Literally after like 5 minutes, she's screaming like a madwoman and wants to be picked up. Then after I hold her for a few minutes, all she wants to do is get down & crawl. Literally trying to jump out of my arms.
What the heck am I supposed to do about this? She's in the stroller practically every day, it's not like it's something new she'll get used to. She's always been fiercely independent (just as I had wished my daughter would be ), so it doesn't really surprise me. But obviously I need her to stay in the stroller, plus she can't crawl everywhere, certainly not the mall, stores, etc.
Oh, she's the same way in the shopping cart too. I get the whole cart cover set up with a million toys, and 5 minutes later she wants to be held, then 5 minutes after she's been held, she wants to crawl.
Help

DD is sometimes like this too - she likes to be out walking and doing..I find the best to keep her happy is to put some gerber puffs or cookie in the stroller in front of her - she likes to snack and look around then..not sure if you tried food or not - hang in there - ive notived even without the snack it has gotten better - she will be content for longer periods of time which is great bc now that the weather is getting warm all we do is go for walks!

I started keeping different stickers with me and letting my DS peel them off and put them back on his stroller tray...He's now 2.5 and he still likes to see what new ones I have with me
