The instructions tell me nothing but how to put the mother f&*$ING thing together ........

on my stanley i removed the screws and moved it down two holes to the lowest setting. there should be an instuction book on the top of the coils for the crib.

I have a Stanley convertible crib. To lower the mattress you have to take the front off completely. We have the Madison.

yeah if you take the drop side off it makes it easy to lower it. the first time i did it i didnt take the drop side off and scratched up the wood and my hands.

SO annoying !!!
I ended up just leaving it last night b/c me and DH were ready to scream.
I have to stupid instruction book - but all it tells you is how to put the crib together.
Someone explain to me WNY I should have to take the entire back of the crib off in order to lower the mattress ????????????? - The jackasses that put it together put the screws in backwards - You shouldn't have to take the whole damn thing apart to lower the mattress - But we will in order to access the screws ...........
SO happy I paid someone to put the thing together ........

I have a stnley crib too any my DH was about to kill someone trying to lower it he ended up scratcj\hing the spindels on the front! It was not fun.
