How to block comments on my Facebook Wall??
We are starting to tell family that we are expecting, but want to tell people in person as we see them. I'm afraid some people that know will post on my FB wall. How can I block wall comments?

Why dont you just tell them NOt to post it on FB. Unless you turn off in the privacy setting no wall posts.

I blocked my wall - for the same reason...
If you go into settings/privacy/profile - there is a box you can uncheck that says "Allow friends to post to my wall"
That way, they can't post to your wall.
Re-check the box when you want them to be able to post again.

We did ask the people we told not to mention it on FB, but we have some family in a different country so once word spreads, they may not know that we don't want them to post, KWIM?

This is why I hate FB.
Ridiculous that you have to even worry about stuff like this because people can't be adults and live and die by FB.
