how to clean a laptop screen-
hey all
we have a macbook, the silver one. the outer cover and screen are Filthy.
aside from going to the mac store and probably spending tons of money on their 'special' cleaner, is there another way we could clean this mess without damaging the screen?

I actually bought the special cleaner. I think you can also use alcohol pads.

I've read that you can use rubbing alcohol to clean electronics. I ended up buying the cleaner though. We use it for everything; the TVs, the computer monitors, our laptops and even my camera. You don't have to buy it specifically from the mac store...they sell a fairly priced one at Staples.
ETA: This stuff with a microfiber cleaning cloth!
