I got a few FMs about this. I got my laptop back yesterday morning and I wanted to give my review.

I broke the screen on myiBook G4 and I waited a long time to get it fixed. Apple quoted me $750 and someone on here told me tekserve charged $780. I almost died, coonsidering my computer is almost 2 years old and since the new model has come out my computer brand new would only be $1000. So I looked on ebay for a screen and I found one for $250. When I researched the company I found out they also do repairs. The price for the repair is $389.

I called and they had to look up the price online which I thought was weird. Shouldn't they know or have a price list? Also, the repair was $99 and based on a screen price of $289. I tried to get them to give me the $250 screen price and have the repair cost $350 but they woudln't do it, which annoyed me, but $389 is still a LOT less than $750.

So I ordered the service. The next day I got a special box to ship my computer to them overnight. They fixed it the following day and shipped it out. I would have had it back the next day, but it was friday of the holiday weekend. (so if you ordered on Monday, you'd get the box tuesday and ship it out the same day, they'd get it, fix it and ship it wednesday and you'd have it by thursday...pretty good!) So far so good. The screen looks good. I haven't really tested it with movies and games but it seems like they did a great job!

They also fix iPods and basically every mac product. They seem to know what they're doing and the turnaround time is great. The price included overnight shipping. You really can't beat it!
