for a corporate position but in a casual environment? I currently work in a very black/gray corporate environment so I'm not sure.

Thank you!

I would always wear a suit to an interview. Better to be conservative and it makes you look more professional. Best of luck!

How to dress for an interview

I work in a corp casual environment but I always wear a suit to an interview and always a dark color.

I have a short sleeeve jacket for a suit for the summer.

I never let the day to day dress dictate what I wear for an interview.

Re: How to dress for an interview

For any corporate interview you should always wear a suit. It doesn't make a difference that their environment is casual.

This!

I'd stick with a formal corporate look. I think unless you're interviewing in a very creative field where dressing VERY casually was the norm the person interviewing you would sort of expect you to look "professional".

What happens after, if you get the job, is a different story.

Re: How to dress for an interview

I heard wearing smart casual is fine these days for interviews and have been doing that the past several times I've had job interviews.

I've also been an interviewer as well and it's common to see smart casual attire these days.
