how to get an earlier bedtime?
I can't complain and am SOO grateful DD is finally sleeping she's been going down at 9:30pm and waking up at 8:30 am but she's been taking a catnap at about 6:30-7:00... how do i space out her feedings to get her down earlier? I can't overfeed her esp. since she has reflux? but on the days i work i don't get to see her awake at all in the morning

Re: how to get an earlier bedtime?
You have to get rid of that 6:30-7 p.m. catnap. Can you try and keep her up? and just put her down a little earlier?

He is sleeping though by 8:30. But I too don't see this changing anytime soon.

How old is your DC - I think she's around the same age as mine.
DD adjusted herself at about 3.5 months and now goes to bed at 8, when previously she wouldn't go down until 10, at least.
It's just something she did on her own.

but how does that work if your DC has the same nap times?
Once he gets up in the morning he bedtime is kinda dictated by that. So moving naptimes up, do you mean all of them? The last one?

see DD was going down at 10:30 and waking earlier 5:30-6:30 but then around 3.5 months she adjusted herself to 9:30pm - 8:00am. She is 4.5 months. since she is not fond of her baths so i didn't make it part of her bedtime routine yet but maybe i should change that now that she does better with the bath. i guess i can try to keep her up.
How can i make that her routine though if about 3 nights per week she's not home by 7:00pm to bathe etc. when DH and I both work i pick her up at my mom's at 7:00pm
