how to spruce up a gluten free cake mix cake
I'm making a gluten free cake from a box. Anything I can do to make it more interesting than just a plain, chocolate, not-from-scratch cake? TIA!

I always love to smash up cookies into my cake mix cakes...gives it a little something extra. Are there any gluten free cookies you can use? Or what about adding some chocolate chips or carob chips to make it fudgier? (Im not sure about the gluten products out there...wish I could be more help!)
OR you could make a really yummy frosting to spice things up a bit?

I don't know much about gluten products either. I've just made a few things in the past for DS' cousin, including a gluten free kit kat cake (not real kit kats obviously )

It's funny you say that because I was going to mention that in my first post. I know that's an option because it's easy enough to add the peeps and morsels, but I'd like something more unique in flavors. That website did give me a few ideas. I'm considering a banana chocolate cake and a chocolate tres leches cake now. Or maybe the sunflower peeps cake lol.
