How to stop worrying?
I feel so silly for feeling this way, but yesterday I was in tears with worry. I am 15w 4d preg. with twins. My next appt. isn't until Thursday. My last appt. was a little over a month ago and everything was great. The babies were moving a lot and measured perfectly. I have had bad m/s but now that I am feeling better I am in a complete panic that there is something wrong. Over the weekend my DH said my stomach doesn't look as big as it was. I thought once I got into the second trimester I would feel so much more secure, but I don't. I just worry that something may happen to one of the babies, but how would I know? It took us 31 mos. to conceive these with the help of the 5th IUI, so these babies mean everything to us. How do I just stop worrying?

Re: How to stop worrying?
I just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel. I am 24w now and I still constantly worry that something will go wrong. To get through those times when I am panicking, I just keep reminding myself of what the doctor keeps telling me---that the baby is healthy, very active and has a strong beat. That helps me for awhile.

Re: How to stop worrying?
I don't think that you ever stop. I am 25 weeks a still petrified that something is or is going to go wrong. Going to the Dr every month scares me because I am afraid she will tell me she can't find a hearbeat anymore. I know it is unlikly but it does't stop the fear anyway. I think it is just something we are going to have to live with forever.

Re: How to stop worrying?
Considering how much my parents still worry about me, I think that this is just a permanent part of parenting!
