Re: How would you (or DH) react if your 2.5 year old boy wanted to take ballet?

I would have no problem with it. I've been telling DW that I don't care what sport DC take, but they have to take some sort of athletic activity. I'm a firm believer in having kids physically active. Right now, DS is in karate, mainly because I am. DD will also be signed up in 1.5 years. If either one of them wants to quit, that's OK, but they have to join something else, and ballet/dance counts.

Plus, what father wouldn't want their son surrounded by athletic women all the time....

We had two boys in HS that were on the cheerleading squad. They were made fun of, until they explained the deal about being with the prettiest girls in the school on a regular basis..... they weren't teased after that...
