How you know you are the parent of a toddler...
I am not feeling well, and stayed home sick today. About a year ago if I was at home, I would have kept Noah home with me because I would have felt guilty that I wasn't at work and he wasn't with me.
Now, a year on. I am doing the inside happy dance that I am having a day without him!
So much so that I just broke out the smoked salmon and champagne (but I had to put it away because the lurgy makes my throat hurt)

Honestly I prefer hanging out with a toddler then with adults I love this age...my newborn on the other hand keeps me on my toes!
