How everyone doing??? Mentally more than anything. I've been following many of you and your physical IVF.

I'm off from IVF this month and actually feels great. Body feels better off meds, not rushing to dr apps then work feels better. I switched RE' And am getting all of that in order before next cycle.

We actually had sex for fun and not because we had to. Miss that part. ;). We're headed to PR for long Veterans Day weekend next weekend. Much needed us time and a break from reality.

Still doing acupuncture and highly recommend it. I have my SO going now although I'm not keen on sharing Andy.. ;)
Think we both need it for our own mental sanity.

Thinking of all of you!!! Xo

Also taking this cycle off. Meeting with 2 other drs in the next 2 weeks got second opinions after my 3rd failed FET. I am with you...loving being drug free for the time being! I want more answers about implantation failure, so keeping my fingers crossed that things will go well and I can move forward with someone new.

Glad you are feeling better being off meds and made the switch to a new RE. Awesome you are taking a little vacation.

As for me I'm just trying to figure this all out. Not knowing what our issue is annoys me to say the least. Hopefully I'll get some answers with my BW and endo biopsy. Yesterday was emotionally a hard day with doing the 2 procedures. I'm so over all of this. Being off meds this month has been nice. Knowing that the next 2 weeks I won't have any more RE appointments is good. I dread starting another cycle but I know I just have to keep on trying. Hoping doing a FET instead of a fresh cycle does the trick. If not lots of consults with different REs and will be switching.

There has been lots of bad news on this board lately and I'm hoping good news starts flowing! We all have been through so much and somethings gotta work for us.

Who are you meeting with for consults or have you already met with? Seems like implantation failure may be our issue too and will be seeking lots of second opinions in the future if needed. Let me know what you think of the REs you meet with. Thanks.

Re: How's everyone doing?

I am so excited for you with this new RE. I think the break and new perspective is exactly what you needed!!!

I am very down lately. Just kinda giving up mentally with this whole ordeal. I think I am just so overwhelmed with all these Dr opinions and no one really knowing why I keep losing these pregnancies. These immune Drs are so $$. Just wondering if maybe having another DC is really in the cards for us at this point. I am never usually like this.
Hoping it will pass.
I agree, these boards need some bfp's!! Hoping we get some soon.

Going to take the month off to just regroup and not stress about being late to work. After 3 appts last week we decided to go with iui again and just hope for the best. My RE said we can do iui until the new year and then reevaluate IVF. I decided not to do the PGD test since results were normal female. Will get a saline sono after AF decides to show up but other than that I am staying away from drs this month :) I am emotionally a little better bc we have a plan.

Right now I'm am thoroughly enjoying this break from cycling. DH and I are in such a good place right now- this break was really needed. Of course I always have baby on the brain, but I'm confident that IVF will help us achieve our lifelong goal of being parents, so right now it's all about DH and myself.

In the 2ww, feeling much less symptoms this time from the trigger shot. I actually feel really great, the last time I was miserable and had every symptom you can think of then af showed...total mindf**k.

Trying to stay in a positive state of mind for the next two weeks!!

I have been going to RS of NY, so going to LIIVF for another opinion. I also have an appointment with an OB who has knowledge of immune issues. I figure that it can't hurt to go that route too. I love the people at RS, but I felt like after 3 FET's my RE wasn't willing to switch anything up or do additional testing to see if there is more going on with me. My friend recommended Keningsberg at LIIVF because when she was his patient (with 2 successful pregnancies!), he was willing to think "outside the box". I will let you know how both appointments go!

How's everyone doing?

Cranky! My 30th BD is this Thursday and I really thought that I was getting a surprise party this weekend, now it looks like it's going to be next weekend - which is fine, but I have 2 (two) best friends, not a lot of other friends, these are the two girls that I call for everything, they are the ones that I see the most often (everyone else is basically once every 6 months) and if it is this weekend, then 1 of them can't make it. So I'm pissed, especially since for HER bday, I missed a friend's wedding (granted I was a B-list invitee, but still). Just super cranky, I was really looking forward to this birthday and now I just feel like it's an inconvenience for everyone - and not for nothin', but I do so much for everyone else - I always make damn sure that everyone else's birthdays are awesome and work so hard to make people happy. So, I don't know, whatever, just cranky.

Doing well. Started 100mg of Clomid lastnight. Trying not to think about any of it this time around and concentrate on work, home, and going to sign up for the gym this week.

I'm feeling pretty good mentally. We'll be doing a FET next week. I'm not getting my hopes up for anything, just going to take each day as it comes. If we get a BFP, great!

How's everyone doing?

My brother just had his third baby this morning - a boy - and they named it the same name as the only "baby" I have - my dog.....seriously. I cannot make this up. I am most hurt by the complete insensitivity of it all as he knows I have been trying - 6 iuis. So, I am feeling everything today like I ran into a brick wall suddenly...anger, sadness, sorrow. Am I horrible and shallow? I am pretty sure I will get around to loving this child and getting used to it having the Fff'n same name as my dog, but its going to take some time.

The ipod just played "Blessed" by Elton John randomly and that is giving me hope. On way to RS of NY for NP apt to set me up for 1st IVF for my next cycle. Was feeling hopeful and positive before this morning. Now, drained and tired from crying. Time to find my big girl pants and put them on.......

How's everyone doing?

Your positive attitude is great! Hopefully you will get your BFP in this mindset! I wish I was as strong - im in the early 2ww (day 3po) and while I know this is going to make me sound nuts-i have POAS once already after the trigger shot - just so i could see what the positive test feels like....so much for no going crazy......im there already! (lol) enjoy your vaca!

I hope they go well and you get some answers! Definitely let me know. I just made an appointment with SIRM in the city for Feb 7th. I will also consult with other REs in LI in January if this FET doesn't work. GL

Yes we need more positive occurrences on this board!

I finished the rest of my blood work for Kofinas this past Saturday. It feels good to be done with it. I am meeting with him in a week to go over the results, then we will take it from there. I am feeling better about things and am okay with taking a few months off from all of this.
It seems like many of us girls are taking some time off!
