Thinking of bringing DS and my 3 year old nephew there this afternoon. Is it worth it? What's there? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Awesome! Thank You!! I am babysitting this afternoon and definitley do NOT want to be stuck in the house... DS is already napping, preparing for going outdoors again (we walked already this AM).
It's in Smithtown.

Re: Hoyt Farms
The park is really nice and they are in the process of redoing the toddler area. I went on Monday and it was crazy with all of the kids off from school. We ended up leaving after a little while and going to the school (Wood Park) across the street.
Hoyt Farm is in Commack but it is a town of Smithtown Park. During the summer they will have someone at the booth checking for residency but they are not there yet. I am guessing that they will start around Memorial Day.
Also, just an FYI for anyone thinking about going - the playground is not too close to the parking lot, so you might want to consider bringing a stroller with you - its a long walk for little legs.

TY so much for posting this. I actually just found the website and saw something about a non resident parking fee However, thanks for the heads up that they are not there yet I do have a double stroller, so, again, TY again for another heads up.

Re: Hoyt Farms
We went over the weekend, the kids got a kick out of the animals and the playground.
No one was at the booth yet either
