HPT help...thoughts??
I tested tuesday AM (11/12 DPO) with a First Response; I got a super faint positive...so much so that I actually thought it was an evaporation line because I did read it after the time limit. after work that day I tested with a FR digital - got a yes!
Yesterday, but I was in complete disbelieve, I tested with another FR digital and a CVS brand early pregnancy test (blue dye if that matters any). The digital again said yes. the CVS brand also was positive, but was very faint; which made me very nervous.
Today, I tested again with the CVS brand. The line was there, but it was just as faint. At this point, shouldnt it be fairly dark? I dont know much about CVS brand pregnancy tests.
I also looked at the CVS test I took yesterday (it was in the garbage), the line was still there. About 30 minutes after I took today's test, the line seemed fainter than it did when I looked at in the timeframe in the directions.
I am freaking out that this is chemical. I go for bloodwork tomorrow. We've been TTC for well over a year. I dont have any pregnancy symptoms, except for being tired, but i'm taking progesterone supplements, so I know it could be from that. my boobs arent sore and I definitley dont "feel" pregnant. Of course I feel sick to my stomach now, but that's from being so upset...
does anyone have any thoughts on all of this??

i can't imagine that out of all the HPT you took, ALL of them would be wrong.
Stop taking the HPT and see what the bloodwork says.
In the meantime, Congratulations and a very happy & healthy 9 months!

Re: HPT help...thoughts??
only bloodwork can truly dx a chemical. you should def go for some betas!! HPTs aren't diagnostic and IMO don't ever get a blue dye test ever. i would only buy FRER or digitals. but go for bloodwork, its the only way to know whats really going on.
also, it is completely normal for the line to not be crazy darker depending on what test you are using and what pee you are testing with. and symptoms are meaningless so theres no point in looking into that.
def call you doctor though!! good luck!!

Re: HPT help...thoughts??
thanks ladies - you definitely made me feel better.
I used FMU with all tests, except my first digital tuesday night and the one I just took (FRER which came up positive and was definitely darker than it was on tuesday).
going for BW tomorrow...half of me is still in denial...i'm a visual person, so I need to "see" it to believe it.
never knew about the blue dye - i should have realized that there was a difference.
I know i need to stop taking them...it's the POAS sickness...I have some ovulation sticks that should watch out! LOL
