HSG on Monday
Hello Ladies,
I am scheduled to have an HSG on Monday and I was wondering what can I take before for pain relief, etc?

I took a couple of Motrin before the test and that seemed to help. I didn't have much cramping during or afterwards. I also took 1/2 a Xanax so that probably helped me relax.

I called my RE to make sure it was ok. He said it was fine.

thanks ladies, now here is a weird question, can I take the "few" motrin AND a xanax? I just don't want to overdose

3 advil. I had slight cramping while he inserted it, for 10 seconds and thats it. It's really quick, 5 minutes, boom, done.
