HSG test today
I'm a little nervous because people say it hurts. I'm hoping it's not too bad. Although, I'm glad I'm getting it done. I just wanna make sure everything is ok and that I'm can move on to the next step.

Take 2 tylenol ahead of time. Then I'd bring the bottle of tylenol with some juice with you as well. Everyone has different experiences with it. For me, during the procedure, it was painful, but not to the point I made them stop. Afterwards I had pretty severe cramps but they were totally gone within 45 minutes.
However, I got PG my first cycle after the HSG so it was totally worth it! Just keep thinking about that.

this test is a breeze. i took 2 advil before the exam, about ½ hour before and then after the exam i had cramps for about 10 minutes, no worse than regular AF cramps and then it was done.
but bring a maxi pad/tampon with you because you will leak out the iodine solution.

i just got home. it wasn't bad at all. i made it much worst in my head. the Dr. was super nice and explained the whole process for me. I only experienced a little cramping. Not bad at all. He said my uterus looks good and there is no blockage. I'm super happy. Tuesday I have a follow up with my RE. I feel good. I feel like things are moving the right direction. The nurse did tell me that many girls get PG the next cycle after this test. So fingers crossed!!!

Great news! They say you are more fertile for the 3 months after the HSG.
I had no blockage, but had 2 failed IUIs. After the HSG, my 3rd IUI did the trick. Hope you have similar luck this month, too!

I like the sound of this! I had one last week (along with a host of other stuff) WOOHOOO can't wait to start  again
