Hubby's train just hit a car!
How horrible! I checked the LIRR website and News 12 but didn't see anything about it.

There was just a story on Channel 7 news. Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma and Oyster Bay branches are suspended east of Jamaica station. The train hit the car in Mineola at Roslyn Rd.

Just saw on Eyewitness News service is suspended on Pt Jefferson Ronkonkoma and Oyster Bay Branches. They didn't have further details though.

yep. My DH was trying to take an earlier train so I can go out for Mommies night out and now he doesn't know when he will get home... Looks like I will be staying in...
It never fails whenever I have plans to do something the LIRR is messed up....
