Hulu vs netflix
We have netflix streaming now, but I feel like there is nothing current on there. Is there any difference between the two? Likes? Dislikes?

Hulu vs netflix
Hulu is more for catching up on TV shows, I dont find it great for movies. I have both Netflix and Hulu

Hulu vs netflix
I had Hulu plus for awhile and then switched to Netflix. They were the same price but Hulu had commercials and netflix didn't.

I have netflix and amazon prime. Amazon Prime I feel have more recent movies on it.

Hulu vs netflix
I like hulu for watching shows on right now. You can normally watch up to the past 4-5wks all for free. I much prefer netflix and amazon prime for everything else. I don't find hulu plus to be worth it.

hulu is for tv mainly. all of the recent tv especially.
netflix is for movies. some tv but mainly movies.
i prefer netflix because you can watch the hulu tv shows on cable, on the internet, or free via hulu sometimes. hulu plus doesn't seem worth the investment.
i love my netflix streaming

Hulu vs netflix
I have Netflix and Amazon Prime but recently did the free Hulu trial to catch up on some shows, I was contemplating keeping it but there was not 1 movie I wanted to watch and all the tv shows are available on amazon or netflix...
If you dont have cable then its great

For most current shows you can watch up to the last 4-5 episodes for free. It will have a mark by the show to see if you need to pay. If it has a + I think you have to pay, but say the last 3 episodes or so of Grey's are free. I also find a lot of shows are free on that network site as well. Hulu is pretty famius for routing you to a different channel so why pay for + if I can watch it free else where. Plus I have Amazon Prime and Netflix already.

They're apples and oranges. Netflix has older movies and shows (by older shows I mean not the most recent season) while Hulu has current TV shows available for streaming. A lot of times Hulu will only have the most recent 5 episodes of any given show available. Hulu, IMO, is more for use instead of cable or instead of DVR.
ETA: Personally, I've gotten rid of cable entirely and use Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu+. The only thing we ever are missing out on is sports. But I have a feeling even that will have an app package that you can buy sooner than later.

But you can't get the app for free. For instance if you wanted to DL Hulu onto your Roku or your playstation, you would need to have a Hulu+ account.

I did this too. The only thing I cant get it god damned paw patrol for my son! Its 2.99 an episode!
