Sabra brand seems to be OK still! Or you can make it yourself - it's actually really easy (if you have a decent food processor/blender).
chick peas tahini olive oil garlic salt paprika lemon/lime juice
blend together and YUM! You can always add other flavors in as well.
I actually once broke a blender making hummus, it was really pretty hilarious.

Is it really that easy? Sounds so good. Do you put a certain amount of each item? Or just play it by ear (taste?)

The only brand that seem to be affected nationally is Archer Farms. The Trader Joe's listed are not in NY.

Thank goodness you posted this and the brands! I ate Athenos today.
The other posters are right, your own is always the best. I love that when I make mine, it contains 100% olive oil unlike the other ones. I love Abraham's brand from Fairway the best.
