Hunter boots question

I really want a pair but I have wide calves. Do you think the Short ones will work better? are they as nice?

Matte or gloss?

I'm a 7.5 - so what size should I order?

Do kids one's work for adults?

I can't answer about the calf issue...I have the tall in glossy and I bought them in my true boot size. They're a little big but in the colder weather I wear heavier socks so it's fine.

As for the kids, they have reflectors on the back so IMO I think they look silly on adults.

I happen to have thin calves but I do own the short boots--the are huge in my calf. You might not be able to wear the sock insole but they should fit a bigger calf.

i have big calves and I have the short ones. I actually don't like the tall ones. Don't remember trying them on but I think they were too small for my calves. I have them in a matte dakr purple.

I normally wear an 8.5 and have an 8 in my Tall Hunter boots. I have relatively small calves, and my boots are HUGE on me (around my calves). They flop back and worth unless I use the inserts with them.

I too am cursed with a wide calf - I ordered the lace up ones to avoid any calf issues. just be warned and wear the short liners with them I wore them with regular socks and they cafed my skin.

i have large calves and unfortunately I could not wear the short ones. I found a pair of Aigle boots on sale at Jcrew and they fit perfectly! I can tuck my jeans into my boots.
