HVAC Recs
I am in need of a new heating and CAC system. Any recommendations? From what I understand only some companies are "cool homes" certified to get the pseg rebates. There is a list on the pseg website but wanted personal recs instead of just blind calling. Thanks!

Re: HVAC Recs
We used US Air Conditioning and Heating for our CAC installation. They are located in PJS in Suffolk.
U.S. Air Conditioning & Heating Inc. 600 I North Bicycle Path Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776 Work: 631-473-0090 Fax: 631-476-4811
Here is the link from the week of the install
They are a LIPA approved CAC vendor for their rebate and there are/were federal rebates available when we had ours installed.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. We interviewed about 5-6 companies - 1 large corporation and the rest were small companies that the ladies recommended on here.
US Air came recommended from our neighbor who had used them one year previously and were going to complete the install to our specifications (not their's). ETA: Some companies felt we had no reason to need 2 zones in our home and tried to convince us otherwise and some stated there was no need to have an upgrade to our 100 amp electric.
