Hyland's teething tablets??
Anyone use these? Do they work? Is it ok to give a 5 month old? DD is so miserable. I've tried teething rings, wet washcloth, the net with the fruit in it....nothing seems to work except Tylenol and I don't want to keep giving that to her. Please help!

Kristina uses them alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time....

Dawn give it time... Kristina didn't like them too much at first either - but she chews them up now!

do you just stick them in her mouth? How many do you give at a time?
U are allowed to give them up to i *believe* 4 times a day 2-3 at max.
I give her 3 at one sitting maybe once or twice a day.... Just stick the pellet on the inside of her cheek, and it dissolves. Once I've given her all 3 tabs, I usually have some pedialyte nearby so that she can wash it down.
ETA: I get them @ CVS or WalMart.

I got them at CVS and have been meaning to thank the moms who mentioned them. They are FANTASTIC and settle him down immediately! They must taste OK because he takes them w/o a problem.
Truly a godsend!!!!!

have you tried letting her nibble on a frozen piece of watermelon? my bosses wife does this with their DC and he loves it plus it freezes his gums. he's 6 months old.

I'll have to try that! I gave her that mesh baggie thing with a frozen banana in it and she hated it. I will definitly try the frozen watermellon.

try putting skinless frozen grapes in that baggy. my dd loves them.

They worked wonders on DS. I always desolved them in a little water, in a medicine dropper and shot em right in. I have tasted them, they taste like nothing a little tiny cherry flavored....i also tasted Orajel which is why I immediately through out every tube of Orajel I owned.

I use them - I wouldn't say they are MIRACULOUS (I know many people do) but they seem to calm DS down a little bit
