Hyperthyroidism? anyone have it?

are you currently under treatment?

my ob found out I has this and sent me to a re. I went there and we never talked about it. less then a month later I was pregnant.

I just read a lot of bad things online if its left untreated. I'm sure its worse case but it still scares the crap out of me! I just tried my dr but they are gone for the night, I will call in the am, but does anyone else have this? are you being treated? do you have any info on it?

Left untreated is bad for you and baby, i felt like utter crap until they found the thyroid issue and started treatment. It's under control now. I never had a thyroid issue until pregnancy. They test my blood for thyroid levels every few months now nd all has been well since 12 weeks when they found it.

ETA: Im not sure why your OB sent you to a RE, my OB called me and said my numbers were out of whack and that i had an elevated thyroid and called in a script and that was it, never saw anyone but him.
