hysterosalpingogram - anyone have this?

If you check on the IF board you will probably find most of your questions answered.

I had mine done in September and I will preface this by saying I'm the worlds worse paitent as I am TERRIFIED of doctors. With that said, it was over in less than 5 minutes. The worst part is the anticipation. You will feel some AF like cramping when the inject the dye but for the most part as soon as they are done so are your cramps. At least that's what my experience was like. I had some bleeding for about a day and that was it.

Oh, and I took some advil about 30 minutes before.

I had one back in Sept - it was nothing for me! As the other poster said, it was over in about 5 minutes.

I had it in Oct. and got PG my cycle after it (with some help from an RE)! The anticipation was the worst. I had some cramping, but it was like AF. I am glad I brought my own pad with me, some water and pretzels too (b/c I felt queazy for about 5 min. after).
