I am 9 weeks and absolutely exhausted. I used to be up until 2am every night. Now I am out cold by 10pm. When did the exhaustion subside? Or did it?

Re: I am 9 weeks and exhausted. When does it go away?

My exhaustion slowly started going away around 11 weeks. I found that I was able to stay up later and later each night. I used to be in bed by 8:30 (no joke) and before I knew it, I was able to make it to 10.

It does get better, I promise! Chat Icon

A few more weeks and then you'll start to get some energy back! Chat Icon

I'm 17 weeks and never got that "burst" of energy that some people get. But i can definitley say i'm less tired, probably started feeling better at 15-16 weeks.

10 pm is nice. I was sleeping by 7or even 8pm. and sleeping through the night too lol. I was sleeping 12 hours and it didn't seem enough.

I'm 24 weeks and I'm still exhausted. So it may never end. Most people I've heard about said it ends in the first trimester. Good luck though!

Re: I am 9 weeks and exhausted. When does it go away?

This is just the start....i didn't get my energy back till midway through my second trimester. The first trimester I couldn't even make it through dinner...i would sleep 2-3 hours every night after work. When i ate i would get "food coma". It was horrible. I did no cleaning, cooking or anything. I felt really bad for DH but it was all about me and the baby being taken care of and resting. Thats all that matters so don't push it either. If you are tired rest!!!

I'm 19 weeks and also never had that energy burst, but I am able to now stay up past 10pm!

I'm 25 weeks, and am often tired a lot. It got better for a while, but now that my belly is so big, I have a hard time sleeping. I do my best sleeping in the morning when DH gets up before me and I can sprawl out all over the bed.

I'm 24 weeks and I still sleep A LOT!

On weekends, usually 10 hours/night... and weekdays close to 9 hours - but during the day I feel good (not too exhausted)
