thanks all!!! yes, it took forever to push her out! i happen to think that the first few hours of pushing took forever b.c of the epi. i know i wasnt pushing right but still, whatever pushing i did, exhausted me! the real"pushing" part was the last 3 hours. but i will take credit for pushing the a total of 6.
and to answer someone's post, my midwife is Maureen Rayson. Her practice is in the city and she delivers out of St. Vincents. she's been doing it for 20 years. i had a great experience with her!!

thanks for your story, it makes it seem so doable 
this is why i want to wait with finding out the sex of the baby, i want a surprise but DH is not for it.
