I am an emotional mess

I had a horrible day at work yesterday.
I was planning on taking a HPT on Saturday..I think AF was due yesterday. Last night DH tells me that a couple friend of ours told him they were pregnant...we have drifted apart from them but DH called the guy to ask a work related question and the guy told him. He told me and I was like that's nice. DH starts to give me a hard time that I am not all excited for them. I spent the next 40 minutes trying to get him to understand how I feel - that I can be happy for them but sad for me and that in front of him I should be able to say that and I would expect him to understand.
He says to me that he really believes I am pregnant b/c I am so emotional.
This morning I take a test and I get an error message. I was so ******. I had to wait a while to take another test. He was going to drop DD off at daycare and come back to get me so we could carpool from work. I take the test and it was negative.
He comes back and starts to get his lunch and stuff together. 10 minutes goes by before he asks me about the test. I say that it was a no. He very matter of factly says maybe its not accurate and goes on with his business.
I then have to spend the 20 minute car ride repeating a lot of my conversation with him from last night.
I love him and I know that he loves me but sometimes he is so cold and so "professional" in the way he reacts to my emotions it drives me nuts.
I know this whole TTC thing is very stressful and I know that we have not been actively trying for that long so I am okay with that but I cant stand the way he has been through this.

I'm sorry!!!
I think our DH's just sometimes dont' get how emotionally draining this entire process is....they think it's easier than it really is, and they don't understand how hard it is for us to go through the process every month!

Please try to understand man are a different breed. They don't express emotions the way we do. It's impossible to do so, they would lose control and most men don't, so they act matter of factly to control their emotions. Your DH may be acting out in another way that you may not get. I would talk to him, and let you know how you feel, and when he responds to you the way he does, it hurts you.

I'm sorry. It's almost like just when you think you have your guard up with the whole TTC thing it all comes crashing down around you.
I hope your day gets better.
