I am getting anxious
I am almost 10 weeks and I am really starting to have trouble keeping quiet! My job doesn't know yet (just a few trustworthy co-workers), our families don't know yet, and most of our friends don't know yet. Dh and I agreed to keep quiet until our 12 week appt. which is still 2 weeks away. I want to be cautious due to an early m/c in the fall. But I really want to start sharing the news! I hope our next appointment goes well for us. I don't know how much longer I can keep quiet! Plus I want to tell all of you who I am!
ETA: At what point is it safe to tell people? M/c risk really doesn't decrease until 2nd trimester right?

Re: I am getting anxious
I wanted to wait until my next appt also but people at work are starting to notice so I told them yesterday at 12 weeks. Some people tell at 6 weeks so it's really just a personal preference

Re: I am getting anxious
I am trying so hard to wait. I guess I need to try to think about other things. I thought it would be easier to wait until 12 weeks!

Re: I am getting anxious
We have told very few people. Just our parents and my boss....I figure I am going to tell my friends on St. Patrick's Day since that is when we will be all together and I will be almost 11 weeks.
It is so hard to keep a secret!!!!! And I cannot wait to see their faces when I tell them that there are twins!!!!

Re: I am getting anxious
After my first dr. visit at 8 weeks I told immediate family and close friends. I have since told some extended family. I am waiting until I am done with first trimester which I think is today to tell everyone else.
It's totally a personal preference - this is just what we decided to do. It is SO HARD to wait though and I can't wait to tell EVERYONE now!
