I am having a 16 week "Genetic" Sono, do you think they will be able to tell the sex??
Did any of you have one??

I had one just over 17 weeks and they told me the sex.

i went tues at 17weeks but the cord was b/w legs and blocked the "area"

I didn't have a genetic sono at 16 weeks.
I had an ultrascreen at 12, they said it was too early to tell. And a Level II at 20, where they told me it was

I had a regular sono on a really good machine at 13 weeks and they are pretty sure they saw the sex then. So I am going to say yes

I had my ultra screen (blood test and sono) at 13 weeks. I only had a blood test at 16 weeks.
They could tell if the baby cooperates

Definately as long as the baby cooperates.
ETA: See my recent post on 12 week vs. 20 week sonograms...
