I am just so infuriated with Sachem...

I can't believe what a miserable bunch of women work over in the Student Services office.

Long story short... we are temporarily living with my in laws in the Sachem SD, until we move sometime either this month or next into Three Village. I was told to register him in Sachem because we are unsure of the move date.... EVERY SINGLE encounter I have had with them I get ATTITUDE (when I had called to find out what I needed to do prior to registering, when I registered...). I had tried calling them at least 4 times last week to make an appt to meet with them (their protocol), either the phone is busy or they don't answer. Ry starts school tomorrow. I get a call yesterday, while my DH is in the hospital for meningitis, from this woman who is threatening to suspend Ry's services because I haven't come in yet.... Ummm, you can't do that. I explained that I tried calling, she doesn't believe me, and that my husband is in the hospital with MENINGITIS, she says that I need to come in... FINE, I get your policy, but she was SOOOO nasty, I was floored at how she was speaking with me. I get that I should have been in there already, but there is no reason for how MEAN she was on the phone.

So I am going there today to get this straightened out.

I am so freaking thankful I am out of this district next month or sooner!!

Sachem is one of the largest districts on LI, and I'm sure they are scrambling and overwhelmed but I feel so many forget they are talking to human beings when they make these calls!!!
