I am literally in tears
I am having a bought of stomach issues. The doctor put me on a bland diet..and I have chosen to stick to it. Here is what DH brought me home for dinner:
2 hard shell shrimp tacos with extra hot sauce
1 Brownie with Walnuts
I am still not sure whether to laugh or cry but crying seems to be winning.

Bland food for a week and then revaluate. Its called diverticulitis (I cannot spell it but I tried)

awe....I can totally relate. I can't eat certain things, and definitely cannot eat late or the next day I will pay.
It's frustrating!!!!

I'm sorry Emily...I had severe IBS from HS all throughout college so I know what its like to give up things you love...its hard, but its not worth the pain

Hope you feel better, my mom has diverticulitis, and she can't eat seeds, nuts, or anything with seeds in it. Now she thinks rice is bothering her too.

Sorry for your diagnosis..but it's manageable.
I have Crohns. I've managed for over 25 years with it and have to watch my diet.
It will get better I promise. You won't be on bland food forever.

I know what you are going through. I have been eating bland for about a month and it really s ucks! I just want a big plate of Mexican food!
My doctor thinks it is my gallbladder. I just had tests and I find out the results tomorrow!

First of all,
Second of all, my FIL has that. Just stick to the bland diet until your "attack" is over. Every now and again you can have what you enjoy.

They just do NOT get it sometimes I feel your pain. I have pre-arthritis in my knees yet I get asked all the time to "run upstairs and grab" whatever. Talk to him and tell him how you feel.

I TOTALLY feel your pain. Ive been tested LEFT AND RIGHT for stomach issues and i know how it feels to not eat the yummy things
