I didn't see the show, but I know of SS.
IMO, there are people who are funny and talented and then there are people who are NOT funny and talented, so they are crass and gross to attempt to make up for the fact that they are otherwise not entertaining.
I think SS falls into the second category.

I find this woman annoying and not the least bit entertaining or funny!
Why was she even at the VMA's. Not one person in the crowd laughed at her jokes!
Everytime I see her she annoys me and I feel like slapping her!

however it has been written that britney herself called her children mistakes which in my opinion is even worse for your mother to say it publicly like that

I happen to like her- she doesn't hold back.

Sorry, but I find it funny that you are bashing her for saying what she said but then you say this in your post.
How is it different, other than she was on national TV?

I felt uncomfortable watching it. I do think it was below the belt, no child should be told they were a mistake, no matter how you feel about their mother. Also, I am so tired of hearing about her "baldness", seriously get over it already. I know that Brit has made some terrible mistakes, but I honestly still root for her and hope she can find happiness for her & her children some day soon.

Sarah Silverman's "comedy" style is to be off beat and mean. She is the total opposite of her husband Jimmy Kimmel...I guess opposites really do attract. If she leaves the audience po'd and mad then she was successful in a dark way.

I don't think they're married. Just together.
I am pretty sure they are married, she is always on his show and he calls her his wife.

I am NOT calling her children mistakes..I am talking about Britneys parenting skills. That is TWO different things. If she would have come out putting down how she parents her children, I would have been on board. But to call the children MISTAKES???? I no where in my post called them mistakes did I????
And I agree, BRITNEY needs to be made fun of..NOT her children. I stand my ground and say that I think its was extremely distasteful and uncalled for and honestly, made me VERY angry.

Exactly, and I wonder if the people who thought kids were fair game have babies of their own. This in my opinion is why Americans have the rep as being classless.
REGARDLESS of whether these children were planned or otherwise. They are innocent liitle babies- you all need to keep that in mind. They should not be fair game. It's pathetic if you need to laugh at them for your own sick pleasure.

I really like SS. Esp when she's self-deprecating. Actually, the Britney joke was the only one where she wasn't also poking fun at herself.
About her kids, yeah, I think it's pretty awful that she called them mistakes, but I also think that word has been used many times before by other media people. Not that that makes it right, but it's not like SS was breaking new ground in the bashing-Britney or Britney's family genre.

She said the boys were beautiful mistakes...it's true and many have said it beforehand.
She did not say the boys were anything bad.
BTW - maybe instead of being angry at SS, you should be angry at Britany for dragging those poor babies all over the place, not taking the correct care of them and being an obviously bad mother. I'd be more upset about the care those boys are recieving than some offhanded comment a comedian made.

It's true that they are mistakes??? I just dont get that comment. How can anyone say that a child is a mistake? A surprise? Of course..but a mistake?? I just dont get that.
Also..if you read my response to Leighla, you would see that I DO say that Britney needs to be criticized and held accountable for the awful parent she is. I am NOT defending Britney in any way..I am saying that SS calling INNOCENT CHILDREN mistakes is just WRONG!
Obviously, if you dont feel the same as me, then you are going to try to point out where I am being "wrong" or "hypocritical" but honestly, I dont think I am AT ALL!
Britney is a HORRIBLE parent. She doesnt even deserve the title. She disgusts me and my heart breaks for those children BUT they arent mistakes and for them to be called that on national television..AS A JOKE..is just wrong and sad. And NO ONE is going to make me change my opinion.
