I am nothing but bad news lately....
I have been dreading writing this post today but am just going to do it and get it off my chest. I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone has any negative or bad comments to PLEASE not post them on here.
This is to update everyone who has been asking about our new puppy Bailey. We were supposed to pick him up from the airport tonight at 8:45. He was booked on a flight from Seattle to LGA. We were away this week in Disney which is why we couldn't get him sooner.
I got a phone call from the breeder last night at 6pm. She was hysterical and screaming. Her French Bulldog got into the pen where the four puppies were (Bailey being one of them, and the puppy my niece was getting was another) -- the Bulldog attacked and killed all four of the puppies. 
I know that there are many skeptics out there (my DH was one of them at first) that thought maybe the breeder got more money from other people and made the story up. Believe me - I would much rather that be the case. She is completely devastated. She had to put the Bulldog to sleep today. She will be completely refunding our money. She truly cares for the pups as if they were her own (and one of the pups killed she was planning on keeping)
I was a disaster last night but am better today because I know it was not meant to be. I am still sad when I think about how close we were to getting him and if only we hadn't gone away he would be safe right now.
He was such a cutie pie and I'm sad I'm not going to get to know him.
With everything that is going on with Molly I really feel like I am going over the edge so I would REALLY appreciate it if you guys could all understand where I am coming from when I really don't want to hear about how bad breeders are right now.

Diana, I am so sorry. I know that there are no words that can help deal with something so awful but I am sending love and many prayers for poor Bailey

Thanks everyone! The whole situation just *****. I am trying to look at it as that everything happens for a reason and god forbid we brought Bailey here and Molly could have been the one to attach him.
I just keep looking at pictures at those poor little guys and it breaks my heart.
If anyone knows where we can get my niece a shitzu please let me know. I checked out petfinder last night but have to go back today for a more thorough search.
