I am seriously losing my mind
I don't know what to do anymore...Drew is 10 weeks old and still screams and fusses and is soooo gassy. He makes that high pitched scream and I can't figure out whats wrong with him. I've tried soy formula, lactose free, alimentum (worked for a day until he didn't poop for three days) and now back to Gentelease. I am supposed to go back to work in 3 weeks and I just can't imagine leaving him like this. My ped is so dismissive - tells me to give him two ounces of water and to do the thermometer trick. Why is this soooo hard? I feel like Drew was getting better and now we're going backwards. Everytime my DH sees me I'm crying and I just can't get it together. I don't know how much more I can take.

When you changed his formula, how long did you try it for? SOmetimes it take a few days for the formula to take affect.

Re: I am seriously losing my mind
My ped always said it can take up to 2 whole weeks to notice a true change from a switch in formula and that it does more harm than good to keep switching too many too quick.

Re: I am seriously losing my mind
DS was very gassy and fussy until I switched to Nutramigin and he has been so much better. He still gets fussy but all babies do so I dont get myself all worked up over it. I can imagine how rough it is when you have a crying baby all the time and you probably feel like your loosing your mind,,but remember your doing a great job and things will get better
