I am slowly getting back my kitchen...

No more ginormous cans of formula to take up the space.

My baby is now drinking regular milk.

No more big boxes of baby cereal to take up my cabinets.

My baby now eats waffles for breakfast.

No more stacks and stacks of baby food jars and containers.

My baby now eats people food.

And now, no more bottles, nipples, nipple rings, and boxes of drop in liners. No more large bottle holder to organize all the bottle stuff.

My little baby now is drinking from sippy cups.

And soon, the sippy cups will be away. His little plastic cups, bowls, his little baby spoons and forks.

I am realizing how at one time, the house was baby stuff from top to bottom. The entire kitchen was full of everything baby. There was hardly any room for our stuff, our food, our anything... and now its getting harder and harder to even remember that we once had a baby here.

At least the boxes of Mac N Cheese are not hard to miss!!!! Chat Icon

I'm PMSing...

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I was planning on doing this today! Getting rid of bottles, bottle rings, and the bottle nipples that all sit in the dish drain.
We have a "carousel" on the counter which holds his jar food. Can't get rid of it yet because it's "Back up".
I also have cans of formula (samples) that I am going to empty out of the closet.

Time goes too fast.Chat Icon

Awww, I can imagine how you feel. While reading your message, I was picturing my empty countertop without the bottle drying rack, bottle brush, etc. What did I have there before? Don't even remember!

I was looking over at the corner in our kitchen overflowing with bottles last night and realized I am holding them there more out of habit than need. He doesn't need all of them there. Chat Icon Since he is doing so well with the sippy cup, next week the formula goes in there.

Awesome that Cailen took to the sippy so fast! Chat Icon
