I am so FED UP with the company I work for!!!

So we just received our health benefits package for 2009 and my insurance went up by $85 a month!

Now I understand that I should be grateful that I even work for a company offering health bennys or for that matter that I have a job in this economy but what really bugs me is that we get this memo from HR saying how they've been paying 90% of our insurance and that they cannot do that any longer.

This wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for the fact that anyone in a management position or higher has 100% of their health insurance paid for by the company!!!!!

Maybe if the big wigs of the company making the six figure salaries started pulling their own weight the little guys wouldn't get the shaft!!!!

that sucks. Do you know for a fact that management gets their health insurance free?

It's not fair, but like you said happy to have a job. My excellent insurance through my firm for DH and I is $300/mo.

It used to be that way too at my firm. Now everyone, even the Managing Partners, pay something towards health insurance. The premiums are too high not to. The amount we pay is based on salary, so the more you make the more you pay.

My job pays practically nothing towards our policies, and I WORK in healthcare!

I get paid once per week, and once per week, about $225.00 is deducted for DH and I. Thankfully, it's pre-tax!

That sucks! In my company those earning more than a certain amount actually pay more.
