I am starting to get anxiety about moving
We are currently selling our home and buying a new and the closing are taking place this month and I am due in 3.5 weeks. The buyers have put us in a situation where we need to move out and into my parents house which really isn't a big deal. The problem is that DS hasn't slept in our room since he was 3 months old and that was in a bassient. He did spend a few nights with us in bed when he was sick but that is really it, he dosnt like to sleep with us. We are staying in my parents room because it's large enough for his playpen and bassinet since we can't move until DD is born. I have no idea how DS is going to handle seeing us if he gets up in the middle of night and I have no idea how I am going to do night feedings without waking DS up. I already feel like I am gonna give up on BF to fast because I will be worried about waking DS up and I really don't want to use formula this time around.
For mom's that have been on vacation how did your DC sleep if you shared a room but not a bed?

Re: I am starting to get anxiety about moving
I think I would have slept in the living room or hallway -- my daughter is such a light sleeper.

My dad sleeps on the couch because when my mom wakes up him he can't go back to sleep so that is already taken and I thought about putting him in the hall way but the bedroom is at the end of the hall way. I even thought about putting the play pen in the closet and closing one door (it is a walk in with 4 bi-fold doors). This just suxs

He wakes up to the squeky wood floor but he slept through our plumber cutting a whole in our cast iron tub, go figure. DH and I both dont snore and my parents now was just renovated last year so their are no squeky floors.

Re: I am starting to get anxiety about moving
When we go to NY to visit, sometimes little as 1 night sometimes for a week, Gianna always sleeps in the same room as us, she does fine with us there and goes back home right back on her sched/sleeping. I am not sure how she would do though either if a newborn needs tending too in the middle of the night- I would prob try to put her somewhere else at night.
Just remember it's only temporary!
