I am still sick!

Ugh, so I had this cold/allergy thing start a month ago.

It morphed into a double ear infection, sinus infection, and bronchitis.

I went on antibiotics and an inhaler 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I was at the ob for a yeast infection from the antibiotics. And now I'm going back to the pcp tomorrow because my cough is worse, and I have some serious asthmatic reaction going on. I can't catch my breath. It's scary.

So this poor baby exposed to all these meds! All are supposedly safe In Pregnancy but I still worry!

Just wanted to vent!

I'm sorry you're still sick!! Just remember, it's MUCH worse for baby to be exposed to a raging infection than it is for them to be exposed to some antibiotics.

Ugh I'm sorry you're feeling so lousy. I have asthma and it's no joke, especially on top of being sick. Hope you feel better soon!

Ah, I'm sorry. You sound like me a year ago. During my last pregnancy I had 4 sinus infections, 2 bouts of pink eye, a yeast infection....I'm sure I'm missing something.

I had tons of antibiotics, unfortunately, but now my baby is almost 5 months old! Hang in there and try not to worry.

Also, I never had a single Tylenol or even a sip of caffeine during my first pregnancy, being overly cautious. That all kind of went out the window with my second.

Thanks everyone! I just had a nebulozer treatment and can breathe for the first time in days! Taking off from work tomorrow to rest up.

Hope you feel better soon - that sounds awful on top of being pregnant!!! And don't even worry about the meds and the baby. The doctors would not ever prescribe you anything that they felt would harm your baby. Just focus on getting better!!!
