Now what lol?! I want to make homemade pizza but I'm not exactly sure how. If anyone does this, please let me know how you do it. (how long to bake, temp, etc.) Thanks!!

Re: I bought pizza dough from my local pizzeria

Usually when I buy pizza dough I make a nice foccacia instead of pizza. Spread it out, brush it with olive oil and add thinly sliced onions, fresh rosemary, some minced garlic a handful of grated Reggiano and maybe a few grapes. Toss it in the oven and bake till it's slightly golden.

For pizza I use a pizza stone. Put the stone on the bottom rack in the oven and turn the oven on to about 400. I take the dough, stretch it out and punch it down into shape. then I brush with olive oil. Then I add a little garlic and a bit of grated Reggiano. Then I pour on the sauce and spread it. Then the cheese - and whatever toppings I want. Then I transfer it to the pizza stone in the oven and bake until crust is golden and cheese is melted.

Re: I bought pizza dough from my local pizzeria

I use either a round pizza pan or just a cookie sheet. I usually cut the dough from the pizzeria in half and I get two pizzas out of it. Put some olive oil on the pan and spread out the dough, top with sauce/cheese/whatever and then bake at 425-450 for about 10-15 mins (I usually bake one on the top rack and one on the lower rack and swap them in the middle of baking so the top and bottom get nice and well done!) It comes out very yummy!

I usually just use a canned marinara sauce or if I am feeling ambitious I will make my own with some garlic, sliced onions and tomatoes or just sliced tomatoes and cheese with no sauce!

I used my own sauce, some parm regiano, mozzerella & baked on my pampered chef pan. Came out SO good and the dough was only like $2!!
