i broke all of my rules......UPDATE with SECOND beta 10.23
for those of you that don't lurk on the infertility board, i wanted to share this news with you too.
i havent been on this board as much lately, it was getting difficult to watch so many come and go while i was having chemicals and getting BFNs.
after 18 months, 2 chemical pregnancies, and my first IVF attempt, i got this BFP last night. i was the equivalent of 12DPO and I went for my beta this morning.

we were going to wait for the beta but decided last minute to test so that we could find out together. i did break most of my rules. i tested at 10pm at night first with a digital!! it was 7dp5dt which is 12DPO though so at least i didn't test too early.
as far as symptoms, i still don't believe in them. i was so petrified to test, i was totally 50-50 as to whether it would be BFP or not. the only thing i can say is that i felt weird and different. but i was on a lot of meds so it can completely be attributed to that as well.
thanks to everyone that has already been following my journey. im not trying to point attention to me, i just wanted to share the news with anyone that may not lurk on the other boards.
UPDATE: beta came back 197!!!!!!!!!!!!!
UPDATE 10.23: second beta is 479!! omg this is real!! ive never had a second beta rise normally before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Image Attachment(s):

I lurk the infertility boards actually, but I always felt funny posting (I came out recently from hiding-I was "tryingforbaby". Not sure if you know me or have seen my name). I have been following your story as well as so many others. I go on there just so I know who to pray for. I was constantly thinking of all of you and praying. I am so very happy for you!!! This is such wonderful news. I was hoping IVF would work out for you; you deserve nothing but happiness. When I saw your bfp before I was ecstatic for you!!!! I was actually tearing because I know how long you were trying and how much you wanted this.
Many Congratulations and have a happy and healthy 9 months!!
