I can bring home the bacon...but I don't want to fry it up in a pan!

I have just worked an 8 hour day, cooked for the kid, cleaned up for the kid, cleaned up the kid, played with the kid, got the kid into the bathtub, shoved a syringe of medicine into his mouth to help with his cough, gave the kid a bottle, sang to him, cuddled him, put him into bed.....

And now...who on gods green earth thinks I want to cook dinner??? Or even clean the kitchen?? Empty the dishwasher??

I am exhausted!!!
Know what I mean???

Lord Plushbottom? No way...he rubs my feet like sandpaper. If I let him serve me dinner we would be eating sausages and bread. and ketchup. lots of ketchup.

racheeeeeeeeee your posts just make me PIMP....seriously....you are too funny.
I actually had this thought yesterday except it was my DH who bought home the bacon, cooked the bacon and bathed the child....I did do the dishes though and sang, read and played with DD until she eventually passed out on the floor at 9.pm..

Of course I didnt remind DH that he had bought, cooked and served the bacon...Chat Icon

I hear you, it is too much! I hardly cook for us, our moms are great with giving us food though. I bring our laundry out and I'm looking for a house cleaner.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I spent a good 20 minutes picking fig newtons out of my hair.
