I cannot figure out what to wear on the plane..

I have a 7 AM flight on Saturday morning to Jamaica. It's cold here, hot there. Planes are cold. Jamaica airport and transportation are not air conditioned.

I cannot figure out an outfit that I will be comfortable and warm enough here and on the plane, and also be good once I get there-- and be comfortable for a 2 hour bumpy journey to our resort.

Help!

do you have a juicy (or other brand) sweatsuit? when I went to St. John I wore mine with a tank top underneath and flip flops on my carry on bag. I took the sweatshirt off and had on the tank and flops and was comfortable.

I am not really a sweatsuit person...

I think I'll just wear jeans and a tank-- with a cozy cardigan- with crocs... and take my socks & cardigan off when I get there. I just wanted a better idea.

I flew twice recently and was HOT on the plane both times. I would dress in layers like you said, a tank underneath some sort of cardigan/sweatshirt.

Linen kakhi pants, white tank, warm fuzzy sweater/cardigan, slip on shoes you can wear with both socks and with out. Simple but functional.

I am very much into comfy clothes for the plane and until I go to the hotel room. I would go for khakis, short sleeve shirt and a sweater/cardigan on top.

I usually wear layers.

So I'll either wear a sweatsuit (with tank underneath)

or I wear a pair of jeans, tank and sweater or hoodie on top. and once I get off I'll switch from uggs to flippies.

I agree with the other girls and say LAYERS.

I would probably wear jeans, tank top and hoodie top and bring flip flops along to put on once I got there.

I never wear jeans on a plane. I would wear a velour outfit, with a tank underneath.

I don't wear sweatsuits either, but sometimes jeans are uncomfortable on a plane, so I wear cotton pants ( ike khakis). They will be cooler when you get ehre too.

I wouldn't worry to much about beign cold in NY. I assume you be going from apt to cab to airport, right? I'd jsut wear a sweater & a scarf over a tank top or t-shirt that you'd be comfortable wearing on the bus, and beither wear sneakers, or if you wear heavier shoes, bring sandals in your carry-on.

I'd wear layers too. Perhaps kahkis or pants instead of jeans so they aren't as heavy when you get to Jamaica.

I'd probably bring flip flops or sandals and change once I arrived in Jamaica. Just make sure you have enough space in your carry-on for your jacket or sweater after you get off the plane.

I usually do a switcheroo with my clothing before I get my luggage at baggage claim.

I would were a terry juicy suit or jeans with a tank w/ a thin jacket or blazer

Jeans can be uncomfortable on a flight. I usually wear black pants that don't wrinkle much, a tank top and a cardigan, big sweater or wrap-style cardigan sweater (a happy compromise) and nice flats. This way, you can just take off the sweater when you land and you're still sort of dressy.

I always do layers. Comfy sweat outfit with a tank top underneath and flip flops in my carry on. as soon as we arrive the jacket is off and the flip flops are on!

I would wear spandex with a summer dress and a cardigan over it. Take off the spandex and the sweater and voilà!, you're in a cute little summer dress. Pack some strappy shoes in your carry-on, or just wear ballet flats. Have fun!
