I can't believe what I just saw....(FIXED)
I'm sitting looking out my door...and a woman is waiting for her childs school bus. She also has a small child (no more than 2) in the front seat of her car, not in a car seat. So I figure, OK, once the bus comes she will put the child in the car seat that's in the back. NO...her child gets off the school bus and she puts the 2 yr old on her LAP and drives away. SO, I go out to see how far she went and granted it was only about 7 house down, BUT she passes to side streets. WHAT if someone blew a stop sign!
WHAT is wrong with people.

I swear I would have wrote down the plate # and called the cops.
I still think about one time when I went to Dunkin Donuts and on line in front of me was an adorable, maybe 4 yr old girl. She had on ripped tattered clothes and a poo-poo stain in her pants  Her mom was yelling at her for no good reason (the poor thing was cowering in fright) and she even yanked her out of the store. Right then and there I wanted to follow them and call the cops..and I never did. And I still think about it and regret it.

Some people just don't think. Anything can happen at anytime. It doesn't matter how close to home you may be.

A young child ALWAYS needs to be in their car seat. Even if she was only driving 7 inches. I can't believe some people.

A couple months ago i was driving on hempstead turnpike and saw three children unbuckled jumping up and down in the back of a moving car. the mother(i assume) was holding a baby that looked about 6 months, and the two children standing up, jumping around and looking at me as i drove behind them, looked about 3 and 4. i was soooo upset and did take down the license.
ultimately i didnt know if i should report it, i didnt know if i could handle the possibiliy of children being taken away or even deported(i really dont mean to be racist or presumptious but i really worried about that). i didnt report it and now i wonder if i made a mistake by those children.
