I can't belive I left my baby with a stranger today......
This is the first time, he has ever been with non family. I am doing a trial day with a private day care provider I think I want to use.
I love her, I love her day care, I love the other kids in the day care, and I did not cry when I left because I have a very good feeling about her, but still....she IS a stranger. AM I nuts??
Unfortunetely, she can't take him full time until May, so he has to go to my work day care for now (which is also really nice) but there are several people that work there, it's not like entrusting this ONE PERSON to give your child care. But I just love the enviroment he will be in everyday.
I have to follow my gut right????
I so hope my gut is right, he is my most precious fellow......

I imagine that everyone that has to place their child in the care of someone else experiences those same feelings. As you said, he is your life; who would expect you not to feel a bit hesitant. Go with your gut. You will definitely get a vibe from the other children in her care as well as to whether or not things are just right.
