I can't find a Christmas wreath that I like!
Why do they have to be so expensive?
Has anyone seen some nice ones that were reasonable? I would like an artificial one. TIA!

I made mine this week. I wanted a big one for over the garage, so I made it and came out really nice. I got non-breakable ornaments, ribbon, decorate sticks and cost under $30.

I feel your pain. That's why I made mine too. Went to Michaels, bought the dried wood wreath backing, and then stuck pieces of faux holly berries, seeds and grasses in it. I didn't even have to tie them to anything, because of the wood branch backing.
There's a thread here a few days back from me with pictures. If I can find non cheesy fake flowers to stick in there, I'm never buying a pre-made wreath again!

On Tuesday Lowe's had 50% off all holiday decoration, maybe it is still going on. I found a really nice wreath for over the fireplace that is decorated and prelit for $19.99 after the discount.
Check out Homegoods also. I bought one their orginially for $39.99, same size but not prelit.

I've been wanting one of the one's from Brookstone.com. They're prelit, LED battery operated with a timer. I wanted the 24" one, but it's $39.99. I've been wanting it for years now, but just don't want to spend the money. Mostly because we haven't had any!   They have different colors too and great reviews. My mom has always made one's from the branches that are cut off of the tree when we buy one (we always get a real one), but my door faces the sun all day so it basically cooks and dies right away. So that's why I wanted a fake one. Oh well....

I couldn't either so I bought a plain one from Target...picked up ornaments & ribbon & just made my own. Came out exactly how I wanted it to !!

I make mine. I bought a plain wreath and got wreath picks from Michaels. I love it, have redesigned it every year. And it's cheap.

That's good to know! I buy a real wreath, but the decorated ones from the nurseries are expensive, so last year I bought an inexpensive one at the grocery store & decaorted it with things I had acucumlated over the years. This year I want to buy more, but I didn't know what they were called or if Michaels would have them. Wreath picks! That makes so much sense. Thank you!
