I cant stop crying....
I quit my job a month and a half ago and started a new job yesterday. Its a job that I wanted because its less hours and closer to home which means more time with my DD. But now that I started Im so sad that Im not gonna see my DD as much as I did. I got so used to being with her. I never thought i would feel so depressed.
When DH left with her this morning I became a blubbering mess. I miss her so much. I just want to be a SAHM, but I cant....DH doesnt make enough money for that.
Please tell me that this gets better. I hate feeling like this.

I went back to work last week so I know what you are going through.
It will get better and you'll get a routine. If you need someone to commiserate with over maragritas...let me know.

It WILL get easier. Yes, you will still miss her and most likely will still wish you could stay at home with her (like I do), but it will get easier

im in a simialr situation...I had to go back to work 4 months sooner then I had thought I would...8 hour days a total of an hour driving on top of that which dosent sound horrible but I would much rather be at home with DD (like you I would LOVE to be a SAHM but finances dont allow)

I feel exactly the same way, but it does get easier. It could also be worse because you started a new job and may not know everyone there. It will get better. Who watches her when your at work?

It does get better. I cried like a baby the first day, and even now, I get teary sometimes, because I just want to be with my little guy.

I am sorry. All I can say is it will get a little easier with each passing day and you will find a good balance between work and home that will keep you happy and satisfied given the situation. I work FT and while it's hard and I do think about DS constantly, I can't wait to get into my car at the end of the day and go to pick him up and smother him with kisses and hugs. It makes the little time I have with him all the more special.
