Re: I consider myself a pretty good cook...BUT

Don't you just put them in the water and boil them?

Am I missing something? If so I am big trouble because my eggs are in right now!

They do have a time limit on the boiling! 20 minutes...

Chat Icon Chat Icon I asked my Mother the same thing!! "Does the water have to be boiling first - do I put the eggs in first then boil? How long do they boil?"

I said there should be directions inside the egg carton!!Chat Icon

Re: I consider myself a pretty good cook...BUT

here's something funny--don't feel badly. When I was little my mom used to make them for me, but before she served them she would peel the shell. Recently, I was away on business and at breakfast w/some friends/coworkers. I ordered one. When it came, I was like, what in hell is this? I picked at it and of course it rolled around. My friend was like, "Um, dork--you need to peel the shell." Chat Icon I was a spoiled child. LOL

in 7th grade during home ec, this was one of our projects... we were split into groups and handed an egg and were told to make a hard boiled egg... no one was able to do it correctly!! Chat Icon
