I just found out that my cousin, who'se like a sister to me will be going into detox tomorrow morning.
Apparantly she's addicted to pain killers. I know that she smokes alot of pot, and I thought that she just occasionally took painkillers, but I guess I was wrong.
She's been stealing my aunt's vicoden for a long time now, and when I got home from work, my aunt told me that in the morning they're taking her to detox.
I lost someone i loved very much to an addiction in 2003, and this just hit me really hard. We are only 1 year appart in age and have lived together our whole lives. I thought we were closer, but recently she's been staying at her boyfriends, and I just didn't have a clue that it was this bad.
