I couldn't stop crying
I checked my e-mail earlier today and was sent this message by North Shore Animal League and I couldn't stop crying.
http://www.animalleague.org/support/support-rescue-medical-programs/help-me-heal/animals/my-name-is-molly.html?autologin=true
Now that I am on injectables for our IUI since we are TTC, I am extremely sensitive and cry at the drop of a hat. My co-worker came over to make sure I am ok when she heard me crying over the video. OMG! I still can't take the image out of my head.
DH and I adopted our beautiful and spoiled Scarlette (11 month old black lab/hound/ pointer mix) from North Shore Animal League when she was 10 weeks old. We have donate on countless times and keep doing so since then. Once in a while they send us e-mails like this one.
I wish I could adopt every dog that needs help

Its so sad. We rescued our newest puppy (pix in album) from a kill shelter in N.C. Her and her sisters/brother were going to be euthanized. So sad. Poor Molly
I always donate money for the animals .. I hate the abuse and stories like this ..

I can't even look at things like that. We adopted our oldest dog from North Shore and found our other dog tied to a tree in a park- she's a pit bull. It's so terrible.

Yup! In Forest Park in Queens. My mom found her and waited for an hour or two to see if anyone came to claim her. No one did.
And it's so crazy to me because she is the sweetest dog in the world. She cannot possibly cuddle enough!
ETA: At least she wasn't abused. But she was pretty skinny. Now she's a fatty!

Re: I couldn't stop crying
As you can see from my picture, my face, muzzle, lips and eyelids are very swollen and painful and are covered in ulcers. My lymph nodes located near the corner of the jaw are also very swollen, making it hard for me to swallow and eat. I’ve been running a fever, have hardly any appetite and my immune system has become weakened, which is very dangerous. but juvenile cellulitis has a pretty slow recovery process. When you have a weakened immune system like I do, even the smallest germ can become a big problem.
....IDK, flame away... but I think maybe it would be kinder to put this poor guy down and end his suffering.
